In 2008 during the mortgage crisis, she worked as a Supervisor in the mortgage industry and led a team of specialists dedicated to helping families keep their homes. In 2010, she joined the Human Resources Department at Chesapeake Energy, where she served as a corporate educator developing and delivering instructor-led and web-based training, development and compliance programs. In 2014, joined the Human Resources Team with Arvest Bank before transitioning into the life she lives today. Why I am running.

"There are a lot of issues facing Oklahomans today that are not being addressed by the current leadership. When elected, the people of Oklahoma will have someone to speak up and attempt to improve upon issues that concern the working and middle classes, women's rights, equality, healthcare, labor rights, environmental health, and education, and as a veteran, I support the military and security as well.

"We're all called to service to one another and to carry each other's burdens. I love helping people. I always have. I didn't get it right every time, but I kept trying to make things better, and it made a difference. The people of Oklahoma want someone to help lift the burden, and I want to fight to see that our state gets the help we need."
